it starts off with the Nystagmus (involuntary eye movements) as our paediatrician's first diagnosis, followed by the jack knife body jerks which we firmly believed to be Infantile Spasms. After sharing the videos on Infantile Spasm forums we were even more convinced that it is Infantile Spasms and were told to seek immediate action as the longer you wait the more damage can be done.
Recording after recording after recording, I hated recording it, all I wanted to do was pick him up and hold him close, but I knew how important it was to get each episode on video, at first I focused only on the eyes as I thought that to be odd, then the more we researched I saw the arms and then the legs also going up as he had each spasm......and then finally we got to see a paediatric neurologist.
